Dilute one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in one tablespoon of water , use as a mouthwash for 30 seconds, then rinse with clean water. Do not use every day to avoid damaging tooth enamel .

Coconut Oil: Old-Fashioned Mouthwash
This method, which comes from the Ayurvedic tradition, is called oil pulling . Coconut oil, which is naturally antimicrobial, traps bacteria and freshens breath.
Take a tablespoon of coconut oil and swish it around in your mouth for 10 to 15 minutes. Spit it out ( into a trash can, definitely not down the sink to avoid blockages ) and then rinse your mouth.
