Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F. Place a rack over a baking sheet.
Step 1
Wash, dry and remove the ends of the asparagus.
Step 2
Peel the stems, then sauté the asparagus in the oil. Garnish with garlic salt and pepper.
Step 3
Wrap bacon tightly around each asparagus stalk. Arrange the asparagus on the rack, seam side down.
Step 4
Sprinkle with grated parmesan, if using.
Step 5
Top with breadcrumbs, if using.
Step 6
Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Switch the oven to broiler and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
Step 7
Remove from the oven, then serve and enjoy your meal!
