Doritos Taco Salad – Crunchy, Cheesy & Flavor-Packed!

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade: 1 teaspoon chili powder, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon paprika, salt & pepper)
  • ½ cup water

For the Salad:

  • 6 cups romaine lettuce or iceberg, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup red onion, diced
  • 1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained (optional)
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • 1 cup Catalina dressing (or ranch, thousand island, or French dressing)
  • 2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed slightly
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

Optional Toppings:

  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Sliced black olives
  • Avocado or guacamole
  • Fresh cilantro
