Scientific Name: Gymnocalycium mihanovichii
Native Habitat: South America (Argentina, Paraguay, and Bolivia)
Distinct Feature: Often grafted onto a rootstock cactus due to its inability to photosynthesize efficiently on its own.
Blooming: Produces delicate, funnel-shaped flowers, usually once a year, in shades of white, pink, or pale yellow.
Cultivation Requirements
1. Light
Ideal Light: Bright, indirect sunlight is best. Too much direct sunlight can cause the grafted top to fade or burn.
Indoor Placement: Place near a sunny window, such as an east or west-facing window, where it gets ample light but not harsh rays.
2. Temperature
Optimal Range: Thrives in temperatures between 20–30°C (68–86°F).
Cold Sensitivity: Cannot tolerate frost or temperatures below 10°C (50°F). Always bring indoors during cooler months.
3. Watering
