Had no idea this was possible!

  • With your fingers in place, gently press and hold each point for about 15-30 seconds.
  • Make small circular motions or just hold the pressure steadily.
  • You should feel a slight tenderness or pressure, but it shouldn’t cause pain.

3. Perform a Sinus Massage

  • After applying pressure to the sinus points, use your fingers to gently massage in small circular motions.
  • Start from the bridge of the nose, moving down to the cheeks and out towards the temples.
  • You can also apply pressure in a “sweeping” motion from the inner corners of your eyes outward, helping to stimulate the drainage.

4. Repeat on Both Sides

  • Perform the technique on both sides of your face, one side at a time, for best results.
  • For a more thorough massage, repeat the process a few times throughout the day.

5. Consider Other Complementary Actions

  • Steam: After massaging, inhale steam to help loosen mucus. You can do this by taking a hot shower or inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water.
  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of fluids to help thin the mucus and promote drainage.
  • Nasal Irrigation: If you prefer, consider using a neti pot or saline spray to help clear out mucus from your nasal passages.
