How to clean your house with salt?

Create a paste using salt, vinegar, and flour. Apply it to tarnished brass, copper, or stainless steel. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then buff with a clean cloth.
8. Clean Fridge Odors
Dissolve salt in warm water and use it to wipe down the inside of your fridge. This eliminates odors and cleans surfaces without harsh chemicals.
9. Scrub Pots and Pans
For burned-on food, sprinkle salt on the pan while it’s still warm, add a little water, and scrub with a sponge.
10. Clean Oven Spills
Immediately sprinkle salt on spills in the oven while they’re still warm. Once the oven cools, scrub off the residue with a sponge.
11. Deodorize and Disinfect Trash Cans
Sprinkle salt at the bottom of the trash can to absorb odors and prevent bacteria buildup.
12. Remove Wine Stains
Pour salt directly onto a fresh wine stain to absorb the liquid. Let it sit, then vacuum or wash as usual.
Salt is not only effective but also eco-friendly and safe for most surfaces. It’s an excellent alternative to harsh chemical cleaners!
