Repairing a hole in your clothing without sewing is quick, easy, and requires minimal tools. Whether it’s a small tear or a noticeable hole, here are several no-sew methods to get your clothing looking good as new.
1. Iron-On Patches
What You Need:
- Iron-on patch (available at craft or fabric stores)
- Iron
Steps:
- Cut the iron-on patch to a size slightly larger than the hole.
- Place the patch over the hole (ensure the adhesive side is down).
- Heat your iron to the temperature recommended on the patch instructions.
- Press the iron firmly on the patch for 20–30 seconds.
- Let it cool before wearing or washing.
2. Fabric Glue
What You Need:
- Fabric glue (strong and washable)
- Scrap fabric or patch
Steps:
- Cut a piece of scrap fabric slightly larger than the hole.
- Apply fabric glue around the edges of the hole.
- Place the scrap fabric or patch over the hole, pressing firmly to secure.
- Allow the glue to dry as per the product instructions before wearing.
