Step 3: Choose Your Growing Method
Water Method:
Insert three to four toothpicks into the seed about halfway down.
Suspend the seed over a glass of water, with the bottom submerged.
Place it in a warm spot with indirect sunlight.
Change the water every few days to keep it fresh.
In 4–8 weeks, roots and a sprout will appear.
Soil Method:
Plant the seed in a pot with well-draining soil.
Leave the top half of the seed above the soil surface.
Keep the soil moist (not waterlogged) and the pot in a warm, bright spot.
