- Crack the egg into the bowl, but only use the egg yolk and a little bit of egg white.

- Stir in the baking soda thoroughly. This is the critical ingredient—it reacts with the cockroach’s stomach acid, causing internal gas buildup that kills them.
Place the Trap:
- Put the bowl in areas where you’ve seen cockroach activity, like under the sink, behind the fridge, or in dark corners of the kitchen.
Monitor and Replace:
- Check the trap daily. Replace the mixture every 2–3 days to keep it fresh and effective.
Why It Works:
- Egg and sugar lure the cockroaches in.
- Baking soda creates a lethal reaction inside their digestive system.
