- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (for moisturizing and extra antifungal properties)
- Β½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar (helps fight fungus and balances pH)
- 1-2 drops tea tree oil (optional but enhances antifungal effects)
- A small bandage or cotton pad
Preparation: How to Use Garlic for Nail Fungus
- Crush the garlic β Take a fresh clove and mash it into a paste using a spoon or mortar and pestle.
- Mix with coconut oil β This not only helps dilute the strong garlic scent but also adds a protective layer to the nail.
- Apply directly to the infected nail β Use a cotton swab or your fingers to spread the mixture over the affected nail.
- Let it sit for 30 minutes β Cover the area with a cotton pad or bandage to keep it in place.
- Rinse off β Wash your foot or hand with warm water and pat dry.
- Apply apple cider vinegar β Using a clean cotton pad, dab a little vinegar on the area for extra protection.
- Repeat twice daily β Continue this treatment every morning and night until the fungus is gone.
