  • ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest (from 1-2 oranges)
  • ½ cup (120ml) fresh orange juice
  • ½ cup (120ml) whole milk (or buttermilk for extra softness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Orange Glaze (Optional):

  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon orange zest (for extra flavor)
