How To Make the Nestles House Toll Chocolate Cake
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan or two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix and instant pudding mix. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, sour cream, and coffee. Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and mix with an electric mixer until well combined.
- Add Chocolate Chips & Bake: Gently fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula. Pour the batter into the prepared pan(s) and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
