Directions:
1. Preheat Oven: Heat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and set it aside.
2. Prepare Dough: In a big mixing bowl, combine softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and the egg. Mix them well until everything’s nicely combined. Then, gently mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until you have a dough. Stir in the milk chocolate chips.
3. Shape and Bake: Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the top with 2 teaspoons of sparkling sugar. Pop it into the oven and bake for 22-24 minutes or until it’s golden brown and puffy all over.
4. Add Kisses: Once out of the oven, right away press the Hershey’s Kisses into the dough in a 4×6 row pattern. Sprinkle the remaining sparkling sugar on top.
5. Cool and Serve: Let the bars cool completely in the pan. Once they’re cooled down, cut them into squares, making sure each piece has a Hershey’s Kiss in the center.
