Ridged nails: what they reveal about your health

When nails become uneven, bumpy, or appear wavy, it can be a sign of  conditions like psoriasis, eczema, or rheumatoid arthritis . These conditions, often inflammatory, sometimes extend to the extremities of our body.  A deformed nail that does not improve should be examined by a dermatologist .

Diet: your ally for healthy nails

You don’t need magic elixirs for strong nails. Often,  a balanced diet is enough to strengthen their health . Biotin (found in eggs and almonds), zinc (found in seafood), iron (found in lentils and red meat), and vitamin E (found in vegetable oils) all play a key role. Also, remember to  stay well hydrated  : dry nails can easily crack.
