Fill the distilled water into the empty bottle with a funnel and add the drops of tea tree oil and citric acid. Close with the stopper and shake vigorously – you want to make sure the citric acid grains dissolve completely. And here it is ready to use.
What do you have to give now? Simply put half of the solution in the washing machine drawer and set it to an idle cycle with a temperature of at least 60°C.
Although the transported materials have a high degreasing power, they are also able to dissolve limescale deposits and prevent their formation. And again, they act as a natural antibacterial agent.
You can use the rest a second time or use it to clean the basket and seals by simply dampening a sponge or cloth and brushing it over the entire visible surface.
