The power of cloves, ginger and Lipton tea: a health-boosting trio

Ingredients (for one cup):

  • 1  Lipton Yellow Label tea bag
  • 3 to 4 cloves
  • 2 to 3 slices of fresh ginger  or  1 teaspoon grated
  • 1 teaspoon of honey  (optional)
  • 200 ml of water

Preparation :

  1. Boil  the water  with the  ginger  and  cloves .
  2. Simmer for  3 to 5 minutes  to release the aromas.
  3. Pour over the tea bag  and let it steep  for 2 to 3 minutes .
  4. Add honey  if desired, and enjoy piping  hot .
