1 cup (150g) ripe papaya, peeled, deseeded, and cubed
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
1 cup (240ml) plant-based milk (almond, coconut, or oat milk)
1 tbsp lime juice (optional, for a zesty kick)
1 tsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional, for added fiber)
Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)
Sweetener to taste (maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup, if needed)
Directions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Cut the avocado and papaya into chunks. Slice the banana if using fresh.
Blend:
In a blender, combine the avocado, papaya, banana, plant-based milk, lime juice (if using), and chia seeds or flaxseeds.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Adjust Consistency:
If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk or water and blend again. If you prefer it chilled, add a few ice cubes and blend until incorporated.
Sweeten (If Needed):
Taste the smoothie and add your preferred sweetener if the natural sweetness from the fruits isn’t enough for your liking.
