Fill a foot bath or large container with warm water. Ensure it’s deep enough to submerge your feet up to the ankles.
Test the temperature—aim for a pleasant warmth, not scalding.
Dissolve the Salts
Stir in 1 cup of Epsom salt (or your salt of choice) until it dissolves.
If desired, add ½ cup baking soda for extra skin-softening properties.
Add Optional Ingredients
Stir in apple cider vinegar for possible pH-balancing and mild detox effects.
Add a few drops of essential oil for aroma. Lavender is soothing, peppermint is cooling, and eucalyptus can help clear sinuses.
Float fresh herbs or citrus slices on top for a spa-like experience.
Soak and Relax
Submerge your feet in the mixture for 15–20 minutes.
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, or enjoy reading/listening to music. A foot soak session can also be enhanced by gently massaging feet or rolling them over a foot roller for extra circulation.
Finish Up
Gently pat your feet dry with a clean towel.
For added softness, apply moisturizer or foot cream.
Put on clean, cozy socks if desired to keep the warmth locked in.
