Peel the ginger and turmeric (caution: turmeric can stain surfaces and skin). Cut into smaller pieces to help blending.
Load the Blender
Add the chopped ginger, turmeric, lemon juice (or ACV), water, and a pinch of black pepper to your blender.
If you want a touch of sweetness, include honey or maple syrup.
Blend Until Smooth
Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds, or until the mixture is well-puréed.
If needed, add more water or coconut water to achieve your preferred consistency.
Strain (Optional)
For a smoother shot, you can strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag. If you don’t mind the pulp, skip this step.
Serve
Pour the mixture into small shot glasses or jars.
Take your ginger-turmeric shot right away for the freshest flavor and maximum potency.
