- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 head of garlic, peeled and minced
- 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
- Juice of 2 lemons
- ½ cup raw honey
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients
- Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic.
- Grate the ginger using a fine grater.
- Squeeze the juice from two lemons and set aside.
- Combine
- In a clean glass jar, mix the chopped onion, garlic, and grated ginger.
- Add the lemon juice and raw honey to the jar. Stir well to combine.
- Let It Infuse
- Cover the jar with a lid and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 12–24 hours. This allows the ingredients to release their beneficial compounds into the honey and lemon juice.
- Strain (Optional)
- If desired, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove solids. Otherwise, you can leave it as is for a more concentrated tonic.
- Store
- Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. The mixture will keep for up to 1–2 weeks.
