The antimicrobial properties of curcumin, along with turmeric’s vitamins and minerals, may help bolster the immune system.
Skin and Liver Health
Some research indicates that turmeric may aid in liver detoxification and contribute to clearer skin by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation in the body.
How to Make Turmeric Tea

1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1 tablespoon fresh grated turmeric)
1 cup water (or milk/plant-based milk for a creamier version)
Pinch of black pepper (enhances curcumin absorption)
Optional add-ons:
Ginger (fresh or powdered)
Cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon
Honey or maple syrup for sweetness
Lemon juice for a tangy twist
Instructions:
Boil the Base
Bring 1 cup of water (or milk) to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
Add Turmeric
Stir in the turmeric powder (or grated turmeric). Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Boost Flavor and Absorption
Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance the bioavailability of curcumin.
Include ginger or cinnamon if desired. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
Sweeten and Serve
Turn off the heat and allow the tea to cool slightly.
Strain into a mug if you used fresh ginger or cinnamon sticks.
Stir in honey or another natural sweetener to taste, and optionally add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra zing.
