Vegan Orange Tofu – Crispy, Tangy & Irresistible!

tofu (pressed & cubed)
2 tablespoons cornstarch (for crispiness)
1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil (for pan-frying)

For the Orange Sauce:

½ cup fresh orange juice (from 1-2 oranges) 🍊
1 tablespoon orange zest (for extra citrus flavor!)
3 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup
1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry for thickening)

For Serving & Garnish:

Cooked jasmine rice or quinoa 🍚
Sesame seeds
Sliced green onions
