Cinnamon mixed with cloves is a secret I wish I had known sooner.

The good news is that this miracle infusion is  super simple to make . Here’s the basic recipe:

  • Heat 250 ml of water until boiling
  • Add  1 cinnamon stick  and  3 cloves
  • Let it infuse for  10 minutes , covered.

Want a milder taste? Add a spoonful of honey or a squeeze of lemon. It’s ideal for  soothing your throat  in winter.

For a quick fix, mix  1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon  with a  pinch of ground cloves . Pour hot water over it, stir, and you’re done.

Consume this infusion  1 to 2 times a day , for  a maximum of one week . As with any natural remedy, do not overdo it: its  heating effect  can irritate the stomach if you have a sensitive stomach.
