In 2004, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Vatican City State, a special coin was minted in a limited edition of just 85,000. Today, it’s worth around 100 euros. A lovely, spiritual nod that slowly increases in value over the years.
San Marino, small but precious

This tiny state nestled in Italy also has its treasures. In 2005, a 2-euro coin was issued in a limited edition (130,000 copies), and today it can be worth around 120 euros. It just goes to show that small countries know how to make a big impact!
