Heat up an avocado and the result will simply delight you!

No need for fancy equipment or long hours in the kitchen. Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Fruit preparation

Take a ripe avocado. Cut it in half, remove the pit, then scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Don’t worry if the avocado is a little bruised: this is the perfect opportunity to give it a second life.

  1. Crushing

Using a fork, mash the flesh until you get a smooth paste. The smoother the texture, the more effective the oil extraction will be.

  1. Gentle cooking

Pour the batter into a skillet and heat over very low heat. Stir regularly. Little by little, you will see an oil form on the surface, like a  light golden veil  being released.

  1. Filtration

Pour the mixture through a clean cloth or fine-mesh strainer to separate the oil from the pulp. Squeeze gently to extract every drop of this precious liquid.
