3 ½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
2 ¼ teaspoons (7g) instant yeast
½ cup (120ml) warm milk (around 100°F/38°C)
¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs
¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Frying:

4 cups (1L) vegetable oil (for deep frying)

For the Coating & Toppings:

½ cup (100g) granulated sugar + 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for classic sugar coating)
1 cup (120g) powdered sugar + 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Melted chocolate + sprinkles (for chocolate-coated doughnuts)
