How to Clean and Restore Your Washing Machine Drawer

Remove the Drawer:

Pull the drawer out completely. Most drawers have a release button or latch—check your machine’s manual if unsure.
Once removed, inspect the drawer for visible mold, buildup, and residue.
Soak in Vinegar Solution:

Fill a basin or bucket with warm water and add 1–2 cups of white vinegar.
Place the drawer in the solution and let it soak for 30 minutes. This helps loosen limescale, mold, and detergent residues.
Scrub Stubborn Areas:

Use a toothbrush or small brush to scrub away any stubborn deposits.
Pay extra attention to corners, crevices, and any parts where mold tends to accumulate.
Rinse and Inspect:

Rinse the drawer under warm running water.
Check if all residue is gone. If not, apply a paste of baking soda and a small amount of water to any remaining spots, then scrub and rinse again.
