We don’t always think about it, but the way we sleep has a real impact on our well-being. And some sleeping positions are far from being as harmless as we think!
Sleeping on your stomach: be careful of your skin and back

Although this position may seem comfortable at first, it puts significant pressure on the neck and spine. The result: tension upon waking, and even an accentuation of lumbar curves. Worse, it can hinder blood circulation in the face, which can promote the appearance of wrinkles … Not an ideal way to start the day!
Tip : If you can’t do without it, slip a flat cushion under your lower abdomen to relieve your back.
Sleeping on your side: adjust according to your comfort
This is often the preferred position… but it requires some adjustment. Consistently sleeping on your right side can exacerbate heartburn, while the left side can put more strain on your heart. The best solution? Alternate, depending on how you feel, and place a pillow between your knees to relieve pressure on your hips and align your spine.
