- 1 cup rolled oats

- ½ avocado, sliced or mashed

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Oatmeal
- In a small saucepan, bring the water (or plant-based milk) to a boil.
- Stir in the oats and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal thickens.
- Add salt if desired. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
