Vegan Tasty Red Lentil Pizza – Gluten-Free & Protein-Packed!

1 cup red lentils (soaked for 3-4 hours or overnight)
½ cup water
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon oregano
¼ teaspoon black pepper


For the Toppings (Customize as You Like!):

½ cup tomato sauce or marinara
½ cup dairy-free cheese (vegan mozzarella or nutritional yeast)
½ cup cherry tomatoes (sliced)
½ cup mushrooms (sliced)
½ cup bell peppers (chopped)
¼ cup olives (sliced)
Fresh basil or arugula (for garnish)


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Red Lentil Crust

📌 1. Drain and rinse the soaked lentils.
📌 2. Blend them in a food processor with water, baking powder, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper.
📌 3. Blend until smooth, forming a thick batter.


Step 2: Bake the Crust

📌 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
📌 2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
📌 3. Pour the lentil batter onto the sheet, spreading it into a round pizza shape (about ¼ inch thick).
📌 4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until firm and golden.
